Assessing the Suitability of Affordable Housing Based on Demand Criteria

Abstract Affordable housing has become essential to provide with affordable prices, but most of the locations are often not suitable people’s demand. To assess suitability housing, several initiatives been developed, match demand and location models lacks spatial element, other model focusing on goal related site cities, preferences housing. This study aims integrating information analysis assessing level in Malaysia. assessment consists 3 main indicators; house according neighbourhood context, demographic factor commute distance. The method use this is using multi-Criteria Analysis, weighted scoring techniques. results show that score more than 60% average, highest 84% lowest 57.9%. shows area good. These indicators can be used for further investigation also finding future.
